Alstom Group Tender and Project Office is hiring a Senior Training Manager/Project & BId Academy Deputy at Global level. In this role, you will oversee Learning & competencies development by ensuring up to date harmonized métier structure and an efficient global competency development training curriculum for Tender and Project Management community. operating model.

You will be the main point of contact reporting to the Project & Bid Academy director for all métier structure updates, competence development and network animation including specific training events.

Métier Structuring:

In close collaboration with HR, maintain harmonized Project & Bid job code structure, job description catalogue and associated competency matrix to ensure coherence and alignment within the organization and deployment at operational levels

  • Ensure yearly, HR-led métier structure update cycle is completed for all Tender Project Office Métiers to ensure where possible simplification and harmonization within the community

Academy -Learning & Development: Ensure the community has the best knowledge of Tender and Project Management processes and efficient usage of applications/tools

  • Continuously develop and update competency and capability needs learning and development strategy with associated roadmap to cover growing community and business demand of Alstom operating model
  • Assess Métier Owner requirements and training strategy and propose solutions for training creation and deployment based on best practices
  • Key point of contact with Alstom university to ensure Project Academy page is up to date with latest digital tools and features available

Animate community Network:

Build a robust community to facilitate engagement, alignment, awareness of latest news and sharing of best practices around the globe

  • Ensure trainer needs are well identified for project and bid training offer and build a strong training network across all regions and product lines
  • Coordinate special learning workshops/events with regions and product lines by understanding their needs and identifying potential training offer proposals
  • Coordinate global certification ceremony for all 3 certification programs
  • Organize special learning/networking events for certified community including guest speaker identification internal or external to Alstom

Your profile:

  • Business Master’s degree
  • Competency development and training development and deployment experience
  • Technical knowledge of digital tools used to design and follow-up trainings
  • Bid/Project/Program management experience
  • Proven communication and marketing experience with international programs
  • Strong experience in event management (remote or in-person)
  • Comfortable in an international and a multi-cultural environment
  • Multi-Tasking in project mode on multiple projects at once
  • Strong communication and powerpoint presentation skills with all levels of the organization
